I'm inspired by everything from a small worm to the giant ocean. Everything evokes a unique emotion in me & urges me to express the same.
Incidents of day to day life, fleeting moments and things that are most often ignored by most people takes the central seat in my paintings.
I'm a wandering soul that travels to find the meaning of everything and find how everything fits in the grand design.
Long long ago, on a sunny summer morning, a girl was grinning with all joy and happiness. A few concerned hearts said to the young girl that art isn’t a viable career option. No one buys art.
Suddenly the bright sunny day became a dark, gloomy day. Everything darkened out.
The fact is she believed it.
The girl grew into a lass and pursued B.Sc & then M.Sc as she didn’t know better. She loved art but she knew that she can’t pursue it as a career. She did survive college and performed OK in all the myriad works and jobs that she took in her career.
However, the art itch was burning... It kept pulling her back from whatever jobs that she started.
Finally the young lass grew enough to make a stand for herself. More precisely for the little girl that was dying inside of her adult self.
That is when I started my long and often lonely journey on this colourful road of art.
Now I'm a full-time artist.
While my brushes create a palette of unsaid emotions and stories, the strokes are still made by that grinning, joyful young girl who loves nothing but art.
To me, art is transcendental.
Art is transformational.
Art is universal.
